Selection Stages

The selection process includes an Online AFCAT Exam, Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) testing, Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) for Flying Branch, and a Medical Examination.

Stage 2Air Force Selection Board (AFSB)Stage I: Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR), Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT), Document Verification. Stage II: Psychological Tests, Group Tests, Personal Interview.

  3. Register by providing your details to create a login ID and password.
  4. Fill out the application form with your personal, educational, and professional details.
  5. Upload scanned photo, signature, and thumb impression (each 10–50 KB).
  6. Pay the application fee: ₹550 + GST (for AFCAT entry). NCC Special Entry candidates are exempted from paying fees. Payment can be made through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
  7. Submit the form and save the confirmation for future reference.
